Basic Parmesan Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or Parmesan cheese crisps pre-grated)
- Optional: Freshly ground black pepper, dried herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place small mounds (about 1 tablespoon each) of grated Parmesan cheese on the baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
- Optional: Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper or dried herbs for additional flavor.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes to crisp up.
- Carefully transfer the crisps to a wire rack to cool completely and firm up.
