Another common problem is poor framing, where the subject of the picture is either too far away or off center. You can fix this problem in Adobe Photoshop Elements by cropping unwanted areas out of the final picture.

With the picture open in Photoshop Elements, click the Crop Tool button.
Click and drag the cursor over the part of the area you want to keep.
Click the OK button in the options bar to crop the image.
The picture is now cropped to your specifications.
TIP

Crop to Size
To crop your picture to specific dimensions, click the Preset Options button and select a print size. You can also enter custom width and height dimensions in the Crop toolbar.
