Composing a New Email Message

Composing a new message is similar to replying to a message. The big difference is that you have to manually enter the recipient’s email address.

  1. Composing a New Email Message Click the Create Mail button on the Outlook Express toolbar.
  2. Composing a New Email Message Enter the email address of the recipient(s) in the To field; then enter the address of anyone you want to receive a carbon copy in the Cc box.
  3. Composing a New Email Message Move your cursor to the main message area and type your message.
  4. Composing a New Email Message When your message is complete, send it to the Outbox by clicking the Send button.

Send to Multiple Recipients

You can enter multiple addresses in the To field, as long as you separate multiple addresses with a semicolon (;), like this: mmiller@molehillgroup.com; gjetson@sprockets.com.
